Liquid FX Hires New Service Manager to Oversee Growth

Boise, ID. — Liquid FX, an Idaho-based firm that specializes in the design, build, remodel, and service of pools and spas, has hired a new Service Manager to oversee the service division of our company.

Raised in the state of Montana, Matthew is a former military veteran who served in the Navy. He is the father of 5 children, with a 3rd grandchild on the way. Matthew is a hard worker, who values family time and the outdoors. “Growing up in Montana, that’s all we had” he said. Matthew and his family enjoy off-roading, hunting, fishing, camping, and many other outdoor activities.

Around 8 years ago, Matthew first entered into the pool industry after he noticed that different technicians who serviced his pool were being irresponsible and inconsistent. Matthew’s wife, Jennifer, is a real estate agent who had a friend that worked in pool and spa industry. His wife put Matthew in touch with him so that he could learn how to take care of his own pool. Once establishing the basics of pool maintenance, what intended to be a way to better care for his own pool accidentally turned into his own small business. This began when he started to service a friend’s pool along with his own. Matthew’s clientele organically compounded through word of mouth on the side while working full-time as a foreman for a cheese factory. As his pool company continued to expand through referrals, Matthew quit his full-time job and focused solely on managing the growth of his service route. His client list grew 58% within 2 weeks of quitting his full-time job.

As Idaho and the Treasure Valley continues to face unprecedented growth, Liquid FX strives to provide the best attention to detail and care possible with our pool and spa service. Having 8 years of experience owning a service company, Matthew has the experience and the reputation that Liquid FX has been searching for. Our company has been in talks with Matthew since December of 2021 and we are excited to announce that on Monday, March 7th, Matthew officially started his new career with us.

Over the next few months, we will be working closely with Matthew to ensure transitioning into his new position goes smoothly. We are excited for what’s happening and what we have planned.
